( 2021 - 2023 &
2023 - now )
Picture

Thao joined us from Vietnam since the master program. She works on Holocene active deformation in southwestern Taiwan, based on classical neotectonics methods, as well as surface processes (denudation).

Here, she had just found a big charcoal within a core !
Master Students

Hsiao-Ting Fang

方曉婷

( 2021 - now )

Hsiao-Ting is a master student, switching from chemistry to Earth Sciences and interested in river geomorphology.

葉日瑜

( 2023 - now )
Picture

Jih-Yu studied in Eastern Taiwan and got the opportunity to experience the 2022 Yuli earthquake sequence and later neotectonic field works.

Kifayat Ali

( 2023 - now )

Ali comes the Himalayas of Pakistan.

Together we will search for the effects of active tectonics on badlands morphology.

Tzu-Chen comes with an interest on rock properties.

We may explore how the properties of rocks in southwestern Taiwan can be used to determine maximum burial depth.

Yu-Shuo Tseng

曾禹碩

( 2025 - now )

Graduated from geography, Yu-Shuo is now taking a deeper dive into Earth Sciences.
